Well, this has been another eventful week. Besides our usual "shopping" we went with an institute student and his father lobster hooping. We went at 8:30 at night and it was very dark. We had to go about 30 minutes in a fishing-ski boat to get to the lobster nests.(or whatever)
It was so bumpy I felt like I was going to be thrown out of the boat a time or two, with the big rolling ocean waves it's a little scary. We had about 10 wire cage hoops that we put pieces of Macrael in and then let the cages down about 30 feet until they reached the bottom of the ocean. We had milk cartons with glow sticks in then to float and mark where we were leaving the cages. We put all the cages out and then went back to check them. Each cage would be like a surprise to see if our how many lobsters had come to eat the bait and were still in the cage when you pulled it up. Once you pull then up you have to measure them to see if they are big enough to eat. If they are less than 4 inches on the shell (main body shell) you have to throw themn back. We caught about 50 or so but only 4 were big enough to keep. It was pretty fun except that Don gets sea sick so he was miserable most of the time. Well, if this is successful in posting and being read we will continue later.

Yes!!! The first one to leave a comment! I have been checking every few days to see if anyone has updated their blogs out, and to my surprise you had! The lobster hooping sounded like a blast! It made me a little sea sick reading, but sounded like a fun time! It has been a lot of fun reading your E-mails, and hearing bits and parts from others about how your doing! We for the most part are doing great, minus the great GOMBOO that has made its way to our family!
We had an awesome expierience yesterday! We went up to Lauren's baptism which was fun to do as a family! The girls thought it was really neat! We were called to be primary teachers a couple weeks ago, and it has been a fun calling so far! We have some great kids that are full of fun personalities! I've really enjoyed preparing lessons for them!
We have'nt really had any action on our house though that's mostly our own fault! We're going to try in the next few weeks to get things back in order!
Dad, I keep trying to talk Kim in to going to the U.S. Open to see one of the rounds or even practice rounds!Despite the outcome of us going-- hopefully you will be "walking with Tiger" in my place!
Now that we know you can write on the blog, we will try to write more! The weather here is finally starting to change, making it a litte tiny bit easier to hear you close your e-mails with "goodbye from 70 degree La Jolla". Sad thing is, it will be a month and a half till we reach those temps! I love you both and admire the examples you are setting for me and my family!
Love Cameron
